Megan Skaggs

Associate, Innovation

Megan is an Associate on the Program Team and supports the Financial Health Network’s research and consulting efforts. She believes strongly in the importance of creating healthy societal ecosystems in order for all members to thrive and is thus driven to support financial service providers in offering individuals the chance to pursue their own version of success by becoming more financially healthy.

Megan previously served with Fulbright in Guatemala and has spent years researching the role of business and society within Central America. She has experience consulting with nonprofits, social enterprises, and the fintech industry both in Nashville, TN and abroad through previous work with the Turner Family Center for Social Ventures and Accion. She is completing both a M.Ed. in International Education Policy and Management and a M.A. in Latin American Studies at Vanderbilt University. She holds a B.A. in both International Affairs and English Literature from Western Kentucky University.

Megan currently lives in Nashville, TN. She enjoys spending her time hiking, reading in local coffee shops, and traveling to places not on the map.
