Michael believes that fintech innovations can improve the lives of the 70% of Americans who are not financially healthy – especially for those who may be low- to moderate-income or from underserved communities.
As Director of Marketing and Communications, Michael supports the Financial Solutions Lab and is responsible for the strategy and execution of various integrated marketing activities that generate awareness of FSL’s work; build thought leadership; spotlight the innovative fintechs, nonprofits, and financial services organizations engaged with FSL; and more. His work includes coordinating workstreams for various channels including content strategy and generation, earned media/media relations, digital marketing, design, web development, physical and virtual events, and social media.
Michael brings more than 10 years of marketing and communications experience to the Financial Health Network Marcom Team from various marketing and public relations agencies, having previously worked with both Fortune 500s and startups (including fintechs), including many cleantech/sustainability companies trying to improve the world.
Michal holds a BA in Business Management Economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and currently resides in Chicago.
