About the Financial Solutions Lab

The Financial Solutions Lab was established in 2014 to cultivate, support, and scale innovative ideas that help improve financial health. We focus on solutions addressing acute and persistent financial health challenges faced by low- to moderate-income (LMI) individuals, Black and Latinx communities, and other underserved consumers.

The Financial Health Network manages the Financial Solutions Lab in collaboration with founding partner JPMorgan Chase and with support from Prudential Financial.

The Financial Health Network is the leading authority on financial health. We are a trusted resource for business leaders, policymakers, and innovators united in a mission to improve the financial health of their customers, employees, and communities. Through research, and opportunities for cross-sector collaboration, we advance awareness, understanding, and proven best practices in support of improved consumer financial health for all. Sound financial health is the foundation on which strong and resilient households, communities, and economies are built. But far too many people struggle to manage their financial daily lives. JPMorgan Chase is committed to improving the financial health of those most in need--including low-income women, immigrants, people of color, and the aging. By supporting the development of innovative fintech tools through the Financial Solutions Lab, JPMorgan Chase is helping more people achieve financial stability and meet their long-term financial goals.

Prudential was founded on the belief that financial security should be within reach for everyone. A strong sense of social responsibility has remained embedded in the company, guiding our efforts to help people now and in future generations achieve peace of mind and a more secure future. Prudential’s commitment to doing business the right way, strengthening communities and providing an inclusive work environment is reflected in its inclusion in awards such as the 2019 Fortune World’s Most Admired Companies and 2019 Fortune Change the World lists. In 2020, it also became one the first institutional investors to grow and manage a $1 billion AUM impact investing portfolio.
